"What do you feel is the best uniform image for therapists these days? I know a lot of people have come away from the formal tunic look, as it has an air of hierarchy about it, and some are now a lot more casual. And what would you class as too casual (obviously not trakkies and trainers)?"

As with any profession, appearance is always important to give the best impression to prospective and existing clients. Our recommendation at IDI is to keep your uniform as just that – a uniform – professional and not too casual, but still remaining approachable. We think a tunic is still an appropriate.

Tattoos and body piercings are certainly an individual choice. We say since you're in the business of skin, it can never hurt to show your skin in its purest form.
